About Feilong Qi

The world renowned QiGong Great Master Qi Fei-Long is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), member of the China Medical-QiGong Council, President of Flying Dragon Health & Nutrition School, and Chairman of World FengShui & Astrology Academy. He has received literally hundreds of honors and awards from every conceivable source i.e. government, academic, business, law enforcement etc.

Great Master Qi's great-grand father was the royal medical doctor in the Forbidden City during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and his family tradition has had a very strong and positive influence on Great Master Qi.

His faith in Buddha was so strong that Great Master Qi converted himself to Buddhism in the Shaolin Monastery, which is located not far from his birthplace in the Henan Province of China. He was extraordinarily diligent and extremely talented in the martial arts. And his understanding of Buddhism during childhood made him stand out among others in his 8 years of Buddhism practice in Shaolin Temple. For this outstanding behavior, he received special training from the Great Masters Su Yun - the head of the temple, and Su Xi. He also learned the unique QiGong technique called "ChanYuan Gong". Thereafter he was designated the Master of the 31st Generation of the Jin Gang One Finger Stand - an especially difficult meditation of Shaolin Temple.

After eight years at Shaolin Temple, he was directed by Great Master Su Yun to go to Qinghai city and Tibet to learn Tibetan Buddhism. In Tibet, Master Qi had the great privilege to be a student of Panchan Lama (second in command to Dalai Lama) for 239 days, and learned "ZangMi Gong". While concentrating on reading the Buddhist Sutra on his final day with the Panchan Lama, the Sutra in his hands became engulfed in flames. Master Qi's special ability was immediately recognized by Tibetan Masters, including the Panchan Lama.

Great Master Qi combined the "ChanYuan Gong", "ZangMi Gong" and "Yoga" techniques he had learned into his special method of QiGong called ChanMi Gong. He also absorbed the essences from the 5 major schools: Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Martial Arts when creating his Shaolin "ChanMi Gong". It is a very special and unique series of meditative exercises with certain dynamic movements including ChanMi Gong gestures, codes and visualizations. This unique practice is now officially recognized in China as a profound exercise for improving and maintaining mental and physical health and in fully developing the human potential.

Great Master Qi has combined many traditional Chinese herbs to develop a series of very specific health care products. Amongst them are his meditation cushion, cap and pillow all of which have been honored with prizes and patents.
